The fall colors in Vermont are simply unbelievable. Forests cover three-quarters of the state, with the highest percentage of vibrant maple trees in the country, Vermont explodes with colors once the leaves start to turn. Almost everywhere you look in Vermont during the fall months is alive with bursting reds, oranges and yellows.

Spend Columbus Day Weekend with the 3-B Family as we meander through the beautiful state of Vermont.  We will enjoy a scenic 1-hour fall foliage trip on the Green Mountain Railroad to the top of Ludlow Mountain. Enjoy historic narrations and a cup of hot apple cider and beautiful views through the Green Mountains. We will ride over a high trestle with stunning views of Ludlow.

We will cruise Lake Champlain on the Spirit of Ethan Allen on their Harvest Moon Sunset Cruise. Watch the moon rise over Lake Champlain while enjoying a hearty, seasonal buffet dinner. The roast turkey mashed sweet potatoes, and apple crisp will set the mood for fall and foliage. Live entertainment is provided for your dining experience! We visit Ben & Jerry’s Factory Tour with ice cream sampling, and we will also sample some authentic maple products for which Vermont is famous, as well as chocolates and cheeses.  But don’t sample too much because then we have lunch followed by a tour of the van Trapp Family Lodge.
